This is the image I created that will be used for part of a post card to promote a Senior Exhibit of myself, along with other Senior Art majors, coming in May.  I first rendered out an image of my monkey character sitting in the position I wanted using image based lighting from a picture taken in my livingroom.  Then in Photoshop, all I really did was add noise, gaussian blur, and len’s blur to the monkey.  I then added the shadow on the wall using a copy of himself with the saturation and opacity way down, and the shadow on the floor and couch using the burn tool. 

Here is my most recent work for my Senior Project. The short is about wolverine and cyclops as babies. I am thinking about a toon shaded look for this piece, but I don’t have any renders yet. I have the basic models done, even though they still need a little tweaking, and I also have most of the rigging done. I am currently working on blocking in the animation and creating a simple set for the play area. Keep posted for more pictures and info. These are my two main characters to date.
